LHC requires > 1700 converters powering individual circuits (mainly cold magnets), controlling curent at a precision level of few ppm (part per millions) to generate adequate magnetic field to keep the beam optic. These power converters are all on the responsability of SY-EPC.

SY-EPC-HPC section is responsible of the main power converters and the active filters.
